Map3’s open-source platform makes it easy to integrate crypto payments into your app. Our vision is to make Crypto Interoperability accessible to every developer.
Despite recent industry events, Crypto matters and is here to stay.
Last week, we recapped why it makes sense to continue to build in Crypto. Today, we want to introduce ourselves as a team.
Introducing The Team
Our all-engineering team has over 25 years of combined crypto product-building experience. We worked together for many years at Blockchain.com. We were directly responsible for many of its self-custody and custody products, in aggregate securing over 11 figures in Assets Under Management (AUM).
Perhaps more importantly, we are also good friends! Here’s a bit about us:
Philip London 🇺🇸
Phil is a New York native. He started his career as an engineer at Born Group and came to lead its front-end development practice. In 2016 he joined Blockchain.com and led its Web Wallet efforts, most recently as a Staff Engineer. In his off time, he enjoys surfing and is passionate about development education, having founded Code Amigo.
Mark Pfluger 🇩🇪
Mark is a native German. Mark has a Master's degree in Computer Science. He started his career in Munich as a web developer before moving to the Bay Area. After starting two companies in the motion tracking industry, he joined Blockchain.com in 2014 as its third engineer and led the Crypto Engineering organization for the last five years. In his downtime, Mark spends time with his kids and catches up on RTS video games.
Amadeo Pellicce 🇩🇴
Amadeo comes from the Dominican Republic. He has a Master’s degree in Computer Science. He founded the UK’s first professional crypto exchange, Coinfloor in 2013. Subsequently, he worked as a Senior Product Manager at Monolith and at Blockchain.com in the areas of Core Crypto, Asset Listings and Brokerage. Outside of Crypto, Amadeo enjoys sailing and long-distance running.
We care deeply about Crypto and believe in its potential to increase economic freedom in the world.
We’ve taken an open-source approach to the problem of integrating crypto payments in order to help make the industry more resilient and decentralized.
